It's got the sort of name that repels you if you just want to duck your head in for something to read, but Unoppressive Non-Imperialist Bargain Books is about the best browsing spot around and at prices that won't set you back much more than what you'd pay the junkies outside selling random books for a buck. This is all thanks to word lover and owner Jim Drougas, who has an impossibly well-curated, frequently changing selection. The Blake section alone is absurdly deep, as is the Dylanology, and a great section of graphic novels go along with an unlikely collection of good fiction, eclectic New York books, and other sections stuffed with reads well-priced to sell, with more of them than the store's size should allow.
