Advice for under a quarter

The Advice People
Weekly Pick
Your mother has her own agenda. Your friends are tired of hearing you complain. Your analyst seems more concerned with his own problems. So it's time to visit The Advice People, those late-night Capitol Hill denizens who can be found most Fridays and Saturdays across from the Broadway Market. Lisa the Advice Diva runs the show, along with her stable of Advice Bucks and Babes. Despite their semiprofessional status, they offer sound critical commentary and an open ear to any and all. And the price is just a nickel, "or whatever you feel is appropriate." Some nights it's a regular open-air salon, with anyone from street kids to power couples stopping by for some words of wisdom or just to eavesdrop. Look for the billboard, the folding chairs, and the friendly faces.
