Best Peruvian Breakfast New York 2000 - La Pericholi

I could work all day on the hefty helping of caramelized fried sweet potato strips and chewy garlic-marinated pork chunks topped with lemon-infused onions that pass for a day-starter at La Pericholi. And that's before I wash it down with a glass or two of chicha morada, the beverage that looks like grape Kool-Aid, but is made from purple corn and spices. After that, I'd be ready to rebuild the road to Macchu Pichu.
