Best Pizza Margherita New York 2000 - Scopa

The stuff of dreams is primal pizza—wafer-thin crust topped with a slather of sweetly tart tomato sauce and finished with a drizzle of cheese—and at Scopa, it's nothing like anything purveyed on Gotham's street corners. I also dote on chef Vinny Scotto's seasonal polentas made with fresh corn and his full-flavored risottos—but it's the pizza I crave.
