It looks like a tourist mecca with its outdoor tables filled with camera-toting travelers, so if you're like most Gothamites, you might skip Allegria. Don't! Head for an inside table near the open windows and order up some of the kitchen's renderings of Tuscan classics and trattoria specials. Go seasonal with a salad of arugula with cherry tomatoes and gorgonzola or spring for a special like grilled sea bass. Don't miss the intensely mushroomy risotto. They'll never find you here behind the hedges.
