Mama's
For nearly five years Mama's has been one of the East Village's best bets for a cheap feed. Popular main dishes include fried chicken, meat loaf, and salmon, but I usually go for the intensely rich mac and cheese, whose wonderful flavor becomes more concentrated the longer it languishes on the steam table.
