They come in all shapes, forms, and colors: the humans. They believe they are the center of the world, each name unique, each distinct whistle a call home. We like to keep it that way as long as they keep bringing us to MADISON SQUARE PARK. You see, they meet new friends, greet old ones, sit on the green benches, and become silent witnesses to love affairs and breakupstheirs and ours. I've heard them say they enjoy the afternoon sun on their faces. As for us dogs, this space is our territory, no need to be scared of getting run over. For a change: No Cars Allowed. A dog friend of mine said to me once: "Spot, you haven't experienced nothin' till you've peed in those green bushes." I've been coming every day since, rain or shine, four o'clock sharp.
