"Chuck E. Cheese for grown-ups, complete with bad pizza," says my friend Dave of THE CHARLESTON (there tend to be lots of balloons, too). But he's not complaining. He did, after all, get to put "Lady in Red"—the worst song ever!—on the jukebox, for absolutely free. Simple pleasures, eh? Right, like Lionel Richie, Kim Carnes, Chaka Khan, Foreigner, Blondie, Cyndi Lauper, Olivia Newton-John, Michael Jackson. All this, and a disco ball, too.
