Somehow, the combined stink of suntan lotion and salt spray improves the taste of hot dogs, and when I'm anywhere near Coney Island, I can't resist dropping by NATHAN'S for a frank or two. The oddly cut fries are another asset, but nearly everything else on the overreaching menu bites. The Nathan's franks purchased from the franchise locations around town are also vastly inferior. Stick with the original.
