Best Potato Pizza New York 2001 - Sullivan Street Bakery

Squarish slices of spud pizza have become something of a fad among downtown bakers. No cheese, no tomato sauce, but plenty of herby, oily flavor. The Golden Oven Award goes to SULLIVAN STREET BAKERY, the outfit that makes a good deal of the bread you eat in fancy restaurants. You'll recognize the bread immediately when you shop at their retail store, where, in addition to the potato slice, there are usually two or three other toothsome pizza choices. Remember, pizza is really just very good bread.
