DESI VILLAGE
If you're on your way back from Brooklyn beaches, there's no better supper spot than DESI VILLAGE, an oddly isolated Indian with good tandoori, lots of vegetarian, and a bread list that encompasses a stunning 12 varieties. My favorite is the Afghan-leaning Kabuli naan, studded with nuts and dried fruit, with village naan—the South Asian equivalent of an everything bagel—running a close second.
