Best Heavy Hard-Shell Crabs New York 2002 - RENCHER'S CRABB INN

It's difficult to believe that old-timer RENCHER'S CRABB INN is still in business. Hewing to the principal that great seafood is not just for the wealthy, they boil up anything that crawls on the ocean floor in a manner inspired by the Maryland shore. The hard-shells are wonderful, rife with orange coral and lump crabmeat. Just remember to bring your own hammer. Don't miss the spicy steamed shrimp, which are much easier to eat.
