Like anywhere, the party doesn't start at PLANT BAR till after midnight, if it starts at all—weeknights especially. It's been labeled the best DJ bar by different publications, but there's something about the place, created by the Plant party duo at Centro-Fly, that mufþes the dancing genes in its vinyl-loving clientele. Maybe it's the excessive trance vibe, and the minimalist setting of cold seats and dark track lighting. The drinks are expensive, too. Or maybe it's just the docile crowds. But for anyone who just wants to move without being shoved or ogled, this is one bare þoor with the right lighting and right ambience to dance slow, unnoticed, and alone.
