Best Starbucks Of The Two At Astor Place New York 2002 - EASTERLY ONE
Two thriving Starbucks roughly sandwich the black cube at Astor Place. The EASTERLY ONE is blatantly superior. It is better lit; it is cleaner; it has a potted plant. The interior paint job is more tasteful. Its architecture, though similar to that of its western brother, is ultimately more modern (with ramps and glass paneling). It is better in summertime due to extensive outdoor seating, and is situated away from the N/R and 6 subway exits that belch out incessant human traffic. Plus, the coffee tastes more mom 'n' popyou feel like an individual there, as opposed to that "brainwashed cow" feeling you get over at westerly Starbucks.
