Unlike your standard impersonal horse-populated merry-go-round, the TOTALLY KID CAROUSEL is full of goofy imaginative animals designed by neighborhood children. Each kid's drawing hangs above the constructed creature, with his or her name scrawled on the floor. Mutant fish sit beside oversimplified snails and misproportioned ostriches. The octopus was especially tricky to translate into a rideable carousel animal, but its tentacles flow into the floor with loveable green splotches and a big smile. Pay 50 cents to ride a googly-eyed squirrel or a giraffe through hypnotic whirls of color.
