The DOWNTOWN BOATHOUSE ASSOCIATION makes single and two-person kayaks available for paddling about the Hudson for free on weekends and holidays from May 15 to October 15. Walk-ups are restricted to a protected embayment, but if you arrive by 8 a.m. on Saturdays a three-hour tour is offered for the adventurous.
