GREAT LAKES attracts the kinds of beer drinkers that like to rock out internally to indie-influenced, overly loud jukebox music around candlelit round wooden tables. Papered with maps of Lake Ontario and such, the bar's conceit is that it's kind of cool to reminisce about upstate New York and the Midwest when you are cozied up with pretty young professionals in a pseudo-dive in the ever-swankier Park Slope.
