BROOKLYN'S FIFTH AVENUE BETWEEN FLATBUSH AND 12TH STREET
In just two years BROOKLYN'S FIFTH AVENUE BETWEEN FLATBUSH AND 12TH STREET has become like a tightly bound suburban mall stretched linear over 25 blocks. Many "Walk-A-Mall" trappings are present: smaller specialty shops (Slang Betty, Bob & Judi's Coolectibels) Americanized ethnic food (Long Tan, Chip Shop, Aunt Suzies), ornery teenagers, seniors on Mall Walks, and bad parking. All that is needed is a few competing department stores (the closest thing being vintage clothing "chain" Beacon's Closet) and a multiplex.
