When chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten decided to "do Chinese," he did a much better job than he did with Thai food at Vong. Recommended dishes at 66 include Peking duck, shrimp stir-fried with lily bulb and candied walnuts, eggplant in X.O. sauce, and, especially, the "crispy garlic chicken." Go late in the evening and sit at the communal table to avoid making reservations way in advance.
