In this very uncrowded category, D.O.C. WINE BAR and ASSENZIO deserve equal commendation, both offering a relatively inexpensive list of Italian wines accompanied by the crackling flatbread called carta da musica. The former establishment excels at cheeses and cured pork products, while the latter whips up more ambitious fare like suckling pig and pasta with wild boar sauce.
