EAST RIVER PARK AMPHITHEATER
The renovated EAST RIVER PARK AMPHITHEATER has actually been around since Erin Brockovich was given several million dollars to fix it up not long after 9-11. Gone are the rotted wood, graffiti, and trash, and in their place are an elegantly spartan stage and new benches. This summer saw several free concerts and plays, restoring some of the theater's '50s "Shakespeare in the Park" glory.
