JANE DOE BOOKS
Feminism is alive and well and living in East Williamsburg. Three young activists, inspired by punk rock and identity politics, started JANE DOE BOOKS last fall, turning a tiny storefront into a collectively-run library and event space. With over 15 volunteers and an ever expanding collection of books, Jane Doe is quickly becoming a vital community resource center.
