'THE BEST IDEA EVER, AND THEN EVERYTHING GOES HORRIBLY HORRIBLY WRONG'
A ton of stuff could have gone awry at 'THE BEST IDEA EVER, AND THEN EVERYTHING GOES HORRIBLY HORRIBLY WRONG.' This one-off party, held last spring at Volume by art collective Madagascar Institute, was a benefit for a friend who allegedly blew off half his face with a confetti gun and needed several rounds of surgery. But Madagascar successfully created a spectacle, complete with gigantic metal "rides," a kissing booth, some sort of potent slut-punch, and a makeover table whose operators produced, disturbingly, Gene Simmons clones.
