You can find buckled Fred Braun shoes from the '70s, white rain boots from the '60s, cherry-red pumps from the '50s, and black suede-with-bows numbers from the '40s at COBBLESTONES. At the start of summer, the store got in 80 pairs of vintage sandals. For fall, there are cowboy boots. Delanee Koppersmith, owner for 23 years on East 9th Street, sings to '30s and '40s records as she straightens her overstuffed shop. Raised in the neighborhood, Koppersmith's pack-rat mom introduced her daughter to collecting.

I am a New Yorker Living in NC at 16-18 back in the 60, 70 all I wear were Fred Braun shoes and sandles. I am looking for those shoes made of that great leather. Where can I find them. I know that that the villaage folk would not let Fred Braun die out so help me out. I am now 62. Love those shoes.
