THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM EQUITY BILL
In May 2005, the City Council passed THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM EQUITY BILL, popularly dubbed the Potty Parity bill, which will require certain new buildings (and ones undergoing major renovations that can accommodate over 150 patrons) to have a two-to-one ratio of women's to men's facilities. Of course there are exemptions, but here's to a new era of happy flushing.
