Day or night, rain or snow, hot or cold, we see MOHAMMED, a hardworking immigrant from Ghana, standing on Second Avenue near the Ottendorfer Library, hawking phones for the store next door, Free Cell. We love his lilting accent and the way he inflects the phrase "Free cell phone, free cell phone." And he is always enthusiastic as he snaps out flyers.
