He came to New York for a 10-month bank gig, but six years later, the Englishman MARK GRIFFINis married to a Yank and plays for the U.S. rugby team—butting heads with world powers like England and Wales as he helps the U.S. "Eagles" qualify for the 2007 World Cup. Griffin's also the hooker for New York Old Blue, one of the top rugby clubs in the country, and is teaching the game to inner-city kids with his Play Rugby, Inc. nonprofit organization.
