Best Useless Second Floor New York 2005 - PIANOS
Granted, PIANOS has been good to its patrons, doling out booze and rock and roll like extra-sketchy strangers with candy. And on good nights, the main space gets crowded and cozy. Still, that second floor's the functional equivalent of some vestigial organ (get it? piano? organ?), sometimes doubling as an overflow room, other times a scaled-down stage for mediocre freak folk, but primarily, if PDA's your thing, a first-class make-out room.
