Besides the fact that butts recently warming its seats belong to the likes of David Bowie and members of the Bouncing Souls, the brass and iron that hold up the upstairs bar at the BOWERY BALLROOM have been through a hell of a lot more than just rock and roll—these structures have been in place since 1929. Though there are just a few seats, you might get lucky enough to snag one and watch a gig in front of you onstage, while the sun sets behind you through the stained glass arch, creating dazzling, dancing lights.
