Gentrification of the Far West Village might be out of control, but not every conversion has resulted in a megabucks, view-blocking condo project. One location that Richard Meier hasn't gotten his modernist paws on is a former gym in Westbeth. After a two-year search for a new home, the lefties of THE BRECHT FORUM have a newly renovated, airy space with a Hudson River panorama in which to foment the revolution.
