This closet-size shop, actually reached through another store, showcases comfortable and glamorous contemporary and vintage threads perfect for starboard strolls and champagne hour on a Capri yacht. (Or the more practical application: dinner and a movie.) Owned by a mother/daughter team, Dane 115 offers modern and retro designs that are a playful mix of sporty and decadent, reminiscent of an era when luxury meant all that was excessive and languidly comfortable. (Coco would so approve.) These designs are offset by the rich burgundy walls, detailed tin roof, and willowy shell chandeliers. The owners don't let the dust settle on their jewel of a boutique. Every season they tailor the stock to a particular country: past focuses have included Paris, New York, and recently Belgium—all ensuring a fresh jolt of talent and eclecticism. Although some ticket prices might make you feel faint, their weekend sidewalk sales (think purses that were $100 going for $20) will have your breathing deep sighs of relief.
