Best Sparkly Bar Interior - GoldBar

The inside of GoldBar is so shiny, it's nearly blinding. Most nightlife venues take the word "nightlife" literally: They hide under cover of the night, drowning their spaces in darkness, with barely a bulb to illuminate the customers' faces. At GoldBar, designed by Robert McKinley, it's just the opposite. From the onset, when big heavy wooden doors open to reveal a secondary set of glass ones, the place glows. Gilded ropes hang from the ceiling; above the bar (also gold) are shimmery chandeliers. Inside the tiny main lounge, the walls are stacked with skulls painted in the bar's favored color. The result is overwhelming, a tiny bit creepy, and totally mesmerizing.
