Martin Luther King's Last Meal - 2007
Sri Ganesh's Dosa House
The civil-rights activist and Nobel Prize winner espoused a doctrine of civil disobedience inspired by Mohandas Gandhi. He also suffered imprisonment as a result of his activities and lifelong hectoring by the FBI, who suspected he was a communist. In observance of his Indian inspiration, we're serving the American saint a comforting meal at Sri Ganesh's Dosa House, where he'll feast on upma, a supremely delicious wheat porridge studded with peanuts, cilantro, curry leaves, and black mustard seeds.
