Ulysses' Last Meal New York 2007 - It's Greek to Me
"You thought the leaden winter would bring you down forever/But you rode upon a steamer to the violence of the sun," as Eric Clapton wrote and Jack Bruce sang in Cream's "Tales of the Brave Ulysses." Being gone from home for 10 years must have been tough, and we're going to award the mariner's persistence with some home-style Greek cooking. At It's Greek to Me, he'll roar with laughter at the name's little joke, then go on to enjoy the wonderful pork souvlaki, a lush Greek salad with pitas, and, best of all, homemade yogurt bombed with fruit and nuts. And he won't even notice the short hop across the Hudson to get there.
