Best movers around NYC. Had no problems with 4 story walk up, even helped install a new A/C. Was raining during the move and they took care to keep all the boxes dry and undamaged. Will never use another mover.
Best Movers for Less New York 2009 - Park Slope Movers
Here's a typical moving day experience: You've been up all night packing boxes for the movers, carefully labeling them "FRAGILE," only to have a few gruff men throw them around with gleeful abandon and then charge you a couple hundred dollars extra in hidden fees—which, of course, you give them because you're too tired to fight and, frankly, a little too scared to argue with someone three times your size. Well, consider those days over. When a friend told us that Park Slope Movers actually charged her less than the already reasonably low price that they quoted her over the phone for her one-bedroom apartment, we couldn't believe our ears. Indeed, Igor and Karla Mironov's company has earned itself a stellar reputation over the 13 years they've been in business for fast, excellent service—punctual moving men who disassemble and reassemble hard-to-move pieces of furniture, wrap it up nicely, and place it where you want it to go. Prices vary—though, to give you an idea, moving a one-bedroom apartment from Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn to the Upper West Side starts at around $265 (depending on how many flights of stairs there are, of course).

FAKE LOCATION - STAY AWAY - SPAM MOVERS FAKE LOCATION - STAY AWAY - SPAM MOVERS- all those good reviews are writen by this spam movers - please google the location and you will see there is no movers @ this location - not license - do not trust them - as a google user say : Wonderful.until they have your belongings I had a horrible cross country move with Velocity. After arriving 6 hours late on pick up, my trip took several weeks longer than I was told it would (try living on the floor for 2 weeks, with few clothes to start a new job, on an aerobed). Their customer service refused to call me back, put my on endless hold for people who weren't even in the office, and told me constant lies about where the truck was, and why it was late. Once they have your belongings, they treat you like dirt. Don't think you'll have anyone on your side if anything goes wrong either - you're totally alone once they have your stuff, no credit card, no better business bureau, nothing. I would never recommend them. I am baffled by the positive reviews, the negative reviews on other sites are more in line with what I experienced. If I could go back in time, I'd pay double to use a different provider. please google this company you will see what google has to say about this SPAM - SCAM MOVERS
