But come on—does the Momofuku empire really need more love? The best soft-serve in the city can be found on any given night by following the tinkling melody of a Mister Softee truck. Yes, it's Mister Softee for us, because we're contrarians, but also because we really love the artificially flavored, creamy concoctions. In re: Mister Softee flavors. It is true the vanilla is a combination of natural and artifical flavors. This is because pure vanilla has become prohibitively expensive. However the chocolate is flavored with real Bensdorf dutch cocoa.
