The Ground Zero mosque furor has brought out the worst in a lot of people, but that can't be said for Pam Geller. The virulently anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist has been a hatemonger since long before it started. But the fact is, of course, that the fiftyish radical Zionist who used to work in marketing at the Daily News is often credited as the key person responsible for fanning the flames of the chickenshit issue into a national wildfire. She's a damned good marketer. Like an insane clown with gasoline in her seltzer bottle and a posse at the ready, she's been squirting fuel on the Ground Zero mosque blaze for months. A relentless self-promoter—even displaying her own cheesecake self in a bikini—she pens the blog Atlas Shrugs. (She's "Atlas," of course.) Geller helped kick off the mosque madness last May with this headline: "Monster Mosque Pushes Ahead in Shadow of World Trade Center Islamic Death and Destruction." That was mild. She's been screaming ever since. She always screams the loudest, of course, when she's accused of screaming.
