(We like the all-natural McBride Beauty Instant Rescue Balm, great for dry, cracked skin in the winter.) Miomia specializes in hard-to-find indie brands (many of them made locally). This is where in-the-know women go to stock up on products such as Knock Out matte nail polish (made by Karen O's makeup artist, Mike Potter), Julie Hewett's Icon of Beauty lipsticks, and the most coveted perfumes (Jovoy Paris, Histoires de Parfums, and Comme des Garçons, to name just a few). Miomia also offers facials. (Try the 30-minute Express Detox Facial for $45 after a late night out.) And, gentlemen, don't think this spot is just for the ladies.
