Still, the bar's greatest gift to the otherwise dry neighborhood might be its spacious, picnic-table-lined backyard, a place where you're likely to overhear conversations discussing everything from last night's hookups to the works of Jacques Derrida, illuminated in equal parts by neighboring buildings and an inflatable, light-up snowman.
