Academy Records Annex is a staggering experience: droves of mainstream and rare vinyl, stuffed to the breaking point inside rickety crates. If you own a turntable and live within a 20-block radius, you probably visit this den more than the supermarket, but wax neophytes need not be afraid: The staff is knowledgeable and approachable, and the inventory is unbeatable (not to mention fairly priced).
