It's perhaps the most important question one friend can ask another: Will you be my maid of honor? The subtext to that question includes: Will you throw my bridal shower, plan my bachelorette party, and get me to the church on time all while calming my every fear about marriage? Oh, and can you wear a peach taffeta gown? If you're lucky enough to snag one of designer Yoo Lee's Saja bridesmaid gowns for your best friend's big day, you might still have to assemble 100 paper lanterns for the reception, but you're going to look fucking gorgeous dancing to the Cupid Shuffle under them later. Browsing the rack in the Nolita store is like spotting unicorns in a bridal-land meadow—with flowy, delicate material to hide any problem areas, a feminine, ethereal quality, and no peach in sight, they're almost too perfect to believe. We love Saja because it's bridal without being too bridal, and affordable (all wedding gowns are under $3,000).
