I hope that they can build a hi-fi Perth branch so we can enjoy their music and service. I love listening to old songs instead of the modern ones because singers in the past decades are obviously talented rather than singers now who are assisted by auto tune system.
Best Jukebox - 2012
In this digital age of Spotify, Rdio, or whatever the hell other applications are used to stream every piece of music that has ever existed at any given time, there has been something lost: taste. And with that sacrifice, the personalized, badass jukebox has become somewhat extinct these days. But thankfully, the HiFi Bar hasn't abandoned us just yet. Its jukebox, which has its own personalized Web page, is named EL DJ. It first showed up in 2002, when the bar opened, but was rebuilt in 2010, embracing new technology that makes accessing its 3,500 handpicked albums (about 50,000 songs) a breeze. 169 Avenue A, 212-420-8392, thehifibar.com (10009)
