Big Question Looming As To Iron Man's Future
The problem with success is in trying to keep it, especially when your pricetag is so high and the sands of time are slipping through the hourglass.
Robert Downey Jr. has had a triumph in the Iron Man films, and part 3 is such a blockbuster it's expected to surpass $400 million dollars--that's a lot of tuna sandwiches for the Paltrow family.
But Boston Herald's Stephen Schaefer sagely writes:
"The question is will Marvel/Disney pay Robert Downey, Jr. his $50 million salary to come back?
"Or like James Bond and Spider-Man, will they draft a new face for the role?"
I'm guessing Downey will continue since he's such a hit with it, and besides, he's beaten every other odd there is in his career.
Besides, Daniel Craig is busy.
