Does The Money Really Get To Haiti?
Everywhere you go, people are asking for donations to help the people in earthquake-devastated Haiti, and one can't help responding by immediately opening one's heart and wallet.
Even at D'Agostino, they ask you at the checkout counter if you want to give a dollar for Haiti.
For God's sake, even celebrities who probably don't even know where Haiti is were wearing ribbons and begging for support at the Golden Globes in between praying they'd win for crap comedies.
But where does the money really go?
To organizations that will actually help the situation or to the corrupt government and/or other shady individuals who'll simply pocket the cash and say they made a difference?
