Eldridge—Also Known as ‘Fuzhou Street’
In case you’re, like, totally out of touch, Fujianese food is the all the rage these days.
Here’s what you need to know: It’s not from Fiji. Fuzhou (pronounced Foochow) is a city in the Fujian province, which is on the southeast coast of the People's Republic of China.
For a little taste of Fuzhou (mostly in the form of freshly made dumplings, noodles, and fish balls), take a stroll down Eldridge Street, starting where it splits off Division.
