Jason Patric Calls Ashley Judd "Lazy, Selfish, and Arrogant"
That's what he just told Entertainment Weekly about his co-star in the 2003 Broadway revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
It's odd that Patric waited eight whole years for this tempestuous trashing.
Ned Beatty -- who played Big Daddy in the same production -- ripped apart both Judd and Patric way back in 2003, in a controversial Times interview that disrupted the whole town!
Beatty said he liked both actors personally, but he felt they were ill-equipped for their parts.

Re: Judd: "She is a sweetie, and yet she doesn't have a whole lot of tools. But she works very hard."
Re: Patric: "He's gotten better all the time, but his is a different journey."
Beatty concluded that a lot of film actors should not be used for stage productions because they simply don't have what it takes.
Well, let me add my two theatrical cents and say that Patric was not good at all in Cat, but he's way more effective as another soused character in the current That Championship Season. He's perfected his drunk act.
So can we all be friends now? Unless Patric wants to suddenly give an interview saying Ned Beatty was a pig.
