Julianne Moore As Sarah Palin: The Early Buzz
Next month, HBO will start airing Game Change, starring Julianne Moore as vice-presidential-wannabe-turned-reality-star Sarah Palin, and it's too early for reviews, but some buzz is already filtering out like horny moose on the tundra.
And it's good.
The movie details the 2008 presidential bid by John McCain (Ed Harris), which reaches a crucial turning point when he selects the not-quite-ready-for-prime-time Palin as his running mate.
One observer reports that the movie shows that Palin really cares for her kids, "but it also shows that she's completely clueless and so stupid and arrogant, she doesn't even realize how clueless she is!"
"Fabulous," says the source. "Start polishing that Emmy."
Bear in mind this is just one person's opinion, but at least it's not the same person who started trumpeting Oscar buzz for The Beaver.
