Kim Novak: "I Want To Report A Rape"
That's how the sumptuous screen star of the 1950s started her press release (also an ad in a trade magazine) about how she feels her legacy has been plundered by the movie The Artist.
And you can't say that didn't grab your attention!
Kim feels the use of Bernard Herrmann's classic music from Vertigo by The Artist's director is a slap in the face of Herrmann, Hitchcock, Jimmy Stewart, and herself.
(That's two slaps for her, I guess, considering the sort of dual role she played in the movie.)
As of now, The Artist crew is ... well ... silent.
