Nicole Kidman As Grace Kelly: A Good Choice?
As you may have heard, Nicole Kidman is negotiating to play Princess Grace Kelly in the movie Grace of Monaco.
The film, directed by the guy who did La Vie en Rose, will be set in 1962, during a period when the movie-star-turned-princess tried to save Monaco from a potential catastrophe.
After Michelle Williams scored as Marilyn Monroe (not to mention Meryl as the Iron Lady), lots of icons' legacies will surely be exhumed for big stars to act them out and go for nominations.
Nicole (who's 44) certainly has the icy allure of Princess Grace (who was 32 in 1962), not to mention the composure and the blond hair.
But were they right in dialing N for Nicole or would Gwyneth have been a better Country Girl?
