Shia LaBeouf Tweets About His Exit From Broadway Play
Yesterday, it was announced that Shia LeBeouf was leaving the production of Orphans because of the fabled "creative differences" reason.
In other words, "Please leave. It ain't working. You got creative differences with that? Sorry!"
A Hollywood Reporter investigation reveals that director Daniel Sullivan was becoming worried about Shia and his acting choices.
According to a Sullivan tweet to the actor, which Shia generously posted:
"you're one hell of a great actor. Alec is who he is. you are who you are. You two are incompatible. I should have known it."
Alec happens to be Alec Baldwin, the alternately charming and cantankerous guy who's had problems before.
So the person Shia is incompatible with also happens to have had icky moments with Kim Basinger, their daughter, Jan Maxwell, a recent photographer, and quite a few others. Shia is not alone!
But it sounds like there's no bad blood between the two actors.
Shia apologized to Baldwin for his part in "a dis-agreeable situation". He also posted a message from Baldwin promising he won't say a bad word about him and Shia pledged the same in return.
Damn, this is all ending rather graciously. I guess we'll have to go back to dishing Rebecca The Musical.
